A Message for the SignAgent Community During the COVID-19 Crisis
It’s easy to say “we’re here to help”, but it’s not very proactive. The other night I woke up with an idea. In normal times, wayfinding and graphic design agencies often guard their creations. That makes sense: It’s a competitive world and you do unique and creative work.
But right now, with temporary healthcare and hospital facilities being set up, and departments and rooms being reassigned, there’s a need to rapidly reduce time to wall for signage.
You’re doing important work. Wouldn’t it be great if you could share and multiply those efforts with others who are working on similar projects? Wouldn’t it be great if we could help free up the time of healthcare facility managers to focus on other things?
So, here's the challenge:
Will you share your efforts to help with rapid COVID-19 response?
You’ve heard that it’s better to give than to receive. Right now, we think both should be a priority. To that end, we’ve just made it possible to share your SignAgent sign type libraries with the healthcare and wayfinding design communities at large. This will enable you to participate in the speedy setup of temporary hospital and treatment facilities around the world in two important ways.
1. Give Help.
The healthcare community and sign designers need resources. Are you creating templates and systems that would benefit others? Are you willing to share your work to speed the implementation of other projects?
2. Receive Help.
Lacking resources or staff to create your artwork quickly? Want to see how other facilities are organizing their sign projects? You can access the folders that others have uploaded for you to use.
At SignAgent, our tagline is “Do better work. Faster.” Our goal to help you do that has never been in clearer focus than right now. We hope you’ll join this effort.
