My life now is streamlined and organized and it couldn't be better.

Hi, my name is Britnee Lombas, and I am an employee of Ochsner Health System. Ochsner Health System is the largest employer in the state of Louisiana. We are a pretty massive healthcare system. SignAgent is one of the foundational aspects of our wayfinding master plan for the entire healthcare system. So, all projects will start with SignAgent and all projects end with SignAgent.

I love being able to program on SignAgent. We had a 200,000+ square foot new-build. Every sign that was in that new-build was programmed in SignAgent. So, it's the act of actually utilizing the floor plans, defining those circulation paths and main paths of travel, and being able to, in the moment, do everything instead of having to do everything separately. It sort of helps streamline that process.

It served as a way for us to collaborate with Exit Design, who's our design partner that works with us on a lot of larger projects. It served as an approval tool for us. They helped with the programming and we were able to approve, remove, and go through the process of constant changes in floor plans and names of clinics and locations in the building. So once it finishes as that approval tool, we have that source of truth and then we utilize it as a production tool where we're able to export everything that we've programmed and send that to our sign vendor that will then produce the signs. Once those signs are produced, we are also able to let them know here's exactly where that sign's going to be installed in the built environment, and here's the exact position that it's going to be facing. So, it takes so much guesswork out of everything.

I help people find their way in an environment where the majority of people in that environment are patients and they're sick or they're caregivers for that sick patient. So, at the end of the day, we're able to have a cohesive wayfinding program and methodology applied in the built environment through SignAgent. I like being able to do the best that I can at everything, and I like knowing that what I've done is as accurate as it could possibly be, and I couldn't do that without SignAgent.
